I was so excited to do my sisters hair and makeup for her civil ceremony at the Chelsea Old Town Hall. My sister, let me take free rein when it came to the hair and makeup and I was so pleased with the way it turned out. For Natalie’s hair I decided to go for a high ponytail. I thought it was a modern twist on the conventunal wedding hair updo. Much like her 16Arlington dress, the hair was fun, soft and sophisticated. When it came to Natalie’s makeup I wanted to enhance her natural beauty and I went for warm earthy tones. I also wanted the main focus to be on the dress. So the makeup look was very soft and blended with no harsh lines. Natalie said on the day she looked and felt like the best version of herself. Which is the way I’d want my sister and all my brides to feel. What I Used

I prepped Natalie’s skin using Bobbi Brown Hydrating water fresh cream, followed by the Dr Barbara Sturm Glow drops and finished off the skin using Pixi Glow mist. This made Natalie’s skin supper bright and dewy before adding the foundation. For foundation I used Illamasqua Skin base foundation and concealed with Nars Radiant creamy concealer. On Natalie’s eyes I used Illamasqua Unveiled artistry palette. Which had all the earthy tones I needed to create this soft eye look. To line the eyes I applied Marc Jacobs Highliner Matte gel eye crayon in Coffee. Marc Jacobs do some of the best pencil liners, there supper easy to apply and smudge out. I then added lashes by SweedLash in Nikki sultry corner. To finish off the eyes I lightly coated the lashes with Charlotte Tilbury’s Full fat lashes. On Natalie’s brows I applied the Hourglass Brow sculpting pencil and gelled them up using Brow soap. I then contoured Natalie’s face using the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood contour stick . This is by far one of my favourit contor applicators and its always selling out. Moving on to bronzer\highlight I used Charlotte Tilbury’s Filmstar bronze and glow and than for blush I used NARS Cream blush in Orgasm. I finishing off the look with the lips, I applied Pillow talk Lip liner and lipstick by… you guessed it, Charlotte Tilbury.
