Must have luxury mascaras
After years of trying every mascara under the sun, here are some of my top favourite mascaras that actually get the job done. When looking for a mascara I want something that is lengthening, water resistant and lasts all day.
The Mac extended play is the perfect light weight and water resistant mascara proven to last up to 16 hours. Its slim mascara wand helps cote those hard to reach hairs and places giving you the illusion of longer looking lashes. Smilier to the MAC extended play mascara is the Sweed pro lash lift. The main difference is the mascara head which works more like a comb and really cotes every singel lash. What I really love about Sweed is that you can really build up the coats and it doesn’t clump. Giving a natural long lash look. This has to be one of my most used mascaras in my kit.
My favourite volume mascara is the Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lash. I would recommend this mascara to anyone who has thin or spars lashes. After one cote you’ll see instants results.
If you’re looking for a mascara to curl your lashes whilst also adding volume, the DiorShow iconic is the best. Its high provision ingredients provide high definition and hold without clumping.

How to prevent mascara from smudging
When I used to work in retail I would always find that half way threw my shift my under eyes started to look quite tired. At first I thought I probably was. So I started drinking more water going to bed earlier but still nothing worked! Then it clicked, it was the mascara I was using. So I went on YouTube for some answers, as a millennial would.
I came across a Charlotte Tilbury tutorial. She explains how by applying a great full coverage concealer under the eyes. Followed by her Airbrush flawless finish setting powder does the trick. So on my next shift I thought I would put it to the test.
I was so amazed by the results, by lunch there wasn’t a single tired eye in sight. So I reapplied a bit more of the Airbrush flawless finish to last me till the end of my 8 hour shift.
Setting my under eyes is now a must in my daily make-up routine and I would recommend this technique to anyone who struggles with the same thing.
